We have implemented a software plug-in to create spatial audio for augmented and virtual reality applications. With spatial audio, the listener has an increased sensation of immersion in virtual and augmented reality experiences.
Currently we are applying this technology in the development of an innovative audio navigation system to guide blind and partially sighted people in unknown environments to increase independence and safety in an intuitive way.
